Aspiro 48V Rectifier

The XPGe12.48G rectifier raises the bar for efficiency in medium-size rectifiers. Incorporating resonant technology to reduce component stresses also provides increased system reliability.

The rectifier features a wide input operating voltage range to maximize power availability within demanding utility power environments.

Typical applications for these rectifiers are both in indoor and outdoor environments, which is ideal for broadband access, cable head ends, micro/pico BTS Cells, Enterprise E911, and GSM-R applications.

Guardian 24V Rectifier

The Guardian FMP20.24G 75 amp rectifier is a 2000W, AC to DC power-factor-corrected (PFC) power supply unit that converts standard AC mains power into DC output in the range of 23 – 28.5VDC for powering telecommunication, data communication and other distributed power applications and can be used in hot-swap redundant systems.

The 75 amp rectifier incorporates resonance-soft-switching technology to reduce component stresses, providing increased system reliability and very high efficiency.

A wide variety of distribution options are available to provide the maximum system flexibility for a wide range of communications applications that demand efficiency, reliability, and flexibility including wireless base stations, remote switches and broadband access. Status information is provided with front panel LEDs and via RS485 management interface.

The FMP20.24 75 amp rectifier meets international safety standards and displays the CE-Mark for the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD).

Guardian Solar Converter

The compact FPV30.48G 2.9kW 48VDC 60 amp Solar PV Converter joins the ranks of the Guardian products family supporting up to 14.5kW solar arrays in a 1RU 23” shelf. Maximum energy harvest from the valuable photovoltaic (PV) array is accomplished through a >99% Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm.

The FPV30.48G 60 amp Solar PV Converter provides a modular building block for Renewable Energy and Hybrid sites and caters for a broad blend of CapEx, OpEx and ROI models. Accompanied by the Guardian Power System, indoor and outdoor enclosures and PV string combiners, Green Cubes provides a total site solution across a wide range of challenging environments.

Guardian 48V Rectifier

The Guardian FMPe30.48J 62.5 amp rectifier incorporates resonant technology to reduce component stresses, providing increased system reliability and a best-in-class efficiency of 96.2% peak. This 3000 watt rectifier features a wide input operating voltage range to maximize power availability within demanding utility power environments.

These compact 62.5 amp rectifiers support up to 15kW in a 1RU 23” shelf. A wide variety of distribution options are available to provide the maximum system flexibility for a wide range of communications applications that demand efficiency, reliability, and flexibility including wireless base stations, remote switches, and broadband access.

Guardian AGM RFK 2

The Guardian AGM Retrofit kit is a 5RU high 23” rack-mounted, 400A DC power system with alarm panel providing a bulk output of -48VDC. The kit includes a 3RU panel containg two rectifier/controller power shelves incorporating up to 7 Guardian family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers modules along with an ACX Advanced system controller.

The Guardian rectifiers are internally fan cooled with speed control which is a function of load and temperature, keeping acoustic noise to a minimum.

A 2RU alarm panel provides the alarm functions described below and the kit is completed with rear support shelf, LVD contactor by-pass bus bar and mounting hardware.

The ACX Advanced controller monitors system parameters, controls rectifier output, and provides alarms for system failures. The controller is hot-pluggable for easy field replacement in case of failure. There are 2 LED alarm indicators which indicate failures, (RED) Alarm and (YELLOW) Message. A third green LED indicates the controller is working properly. As standard ten form-C relay outputs provide the alarms for remote use. Two digital inputs and outputs are also provided as well as an SD card with sufficient capacity for more than 20 years data logging.

The system can be programmed by means of a remote PC web page display. Communication is by Ethernet LAN with SNMPv3 including alarm trapping. It also has provision for temperature compensated charging of an external battery using a supplied TC probe. An LCD Display/Touchpad is included for local metering, status, and setup.

The Guardian AGM Retrofit Kit is compatible with UNIPOWER’s free PowCom™ software which offers local and remote management through an advanced Windows GUI.

Guardian Bulk 10U

Guardian Bulk M42 is a 10RU high 19” rack-mounted, 1200 Amp DC power system providing a bulk output of -48VDC.

The Guardian Bulk M42 1200 Amp DC power system incorporates 6 rectifier shelves accommodating up to 23 Guardian family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers. A maximum total current of 1200A (N+1) is available.

The rectifiers are internally fan cooled with speed control which is a function of load and temperature, keeping acoustic noise to a minimum.

Guardian Hybrid

Off-grid diesel generator powered sites, running continuously, cause glazing and carbon build-up in the generator engine and typically operate at an inefficient load range resulting in high fuel consumption. The UNIPOWER hybrid solution, by adding deep cyclic batteries, significantly reduces generator runtime and fuel consumption operational expenditure due to less frequent maintenance intervals. Cyclic batteries also provides a degree of operational redundancy in the event of generator failure as the batteries are only ever discharged to a limited capacity on any given cycle, thus eradicating the need for a second generator.

hybrid power solutions

Through the use of temperature hardened rectifiers and resilient batteries, the traditional requirement for air-conditioners can be traded in for a passive Heat Exchanger (HEX) or direct fan filter (DFC) cooling solution, both of which use significantly less energy. This energy saving equates to a lower total cost of ownership.

Battery and generator management is handled through the UNIPOWER system controller, which, through the setting of battery type and capacity, ensures optimal site management and maximum lifetime of the battery and generator.

The flexibility to expand using solar converters allows prioritized renewable energy to be integrated into the modular system design.

Guardian 5-7U M38

Guardian Access M38 is a 5-7RU high 19” rack-mounted, integrated 600 Amp DC power system providing an output of -48VDC. These highly configurable systems incorporate 3 rectifier shelves with up to 11 Guardian family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers.

Guardian Access M38 provides a maximum total current of 600A (N+1). This may be shared between the load and battery charge current, the latter being programmable via the controller. The rectifiers are internally fan cooled with speed control which is a function of load and temperature, keeping acoustic noise to a minimum. The DC distribution module in Guardian Access M38 can accommodate up to 20 pluggable breakers or TPS fuse modules. 4 or 8 of these in each case may be connected to the bus via the Low Voltage Battery Disconnect (LVBD).

Guardian 5-6U M31

Guardian Access 19 are 5RU or 6RU high 19” rack-mounted, integrated DC power systems providing an output of -48VDC. These systems can accommodate up to four (5U) or eight (6U) Guardian family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers.

A load current of 400A is available with battery charge current up to 125A subject to an overall 480A. The rectifiers are internally fan cooled with speed control which is a function of load and temperature, keeping acoustic noise to a minimum.

The DC output circuits can provide up to 20 loads which utilize circuit breakers with capacities from 2A to 150A plus up to six 100A or 300A breakers that provide battery protection. A programmable low voltage battery disconnect (LVBD) is available with a 200A (5RU systems) or 400A (6RU systems) contactor; while one optional partial load disconnects (PLD), rated at 125A (5RU systems) or 200A (6RU systems) and also programmable, can provide non-critical load shedding when operating on batteries.

Guardian 3U

Guardian Access 3U is a 3RU high 19” rack-mounted, integrated 300 Amp DC power system providing an output of -48VDC. These systems can accommodate up to 5 Guardian family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers.

This 300 Amp DC power system provides a total load current of 200A with battery charge current up to 100A in addition. The rectifiers are internally fan cooled with speed control which is a function of load and temperature, keeping acoustic noise to a minimum.

The DC output circuits can provide up to 13 loads which utilize circuit breakers rated from 4A to 150A plus up to three 80A, 100A or 125A breakers that provide battery protection. A programmable low voltage battery disconnect (LVBD) is available with options of 125A or 200A; while a partial load disconnect (PLD), rated at 125A and also programmable, can provide non-critical load shedding when operating on batteries.

Aspiro 2U

Aspiro 2U 60 Amp Front Access DC Power System is a 2RU high 19” rack-mounted, integrated solution providing an output of -48VDC. The system can accommodate up to 4 Aspiro family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers.

Aspiro 2U 60 Amp Front Access DC Power System provides a total load current of 60A / 3.2kW with battery charge current up to 30A in addition. The rectifiers are internally fan cooled with speed control which is a function of load and temperature, keeping acoustic noise to a minimum. The systems offers full front access for cable connections with push-pull mounting brackets for either 19” or ETSI mounting.

The DC output circuits of the Aspiro 2U 60 Amp Front Access DC Power System can provide up to 8 loads with breakers rated from 1A to 30A. 2 additional breakers provide battery protection. A programmable 125A low voltage battery disconnect (LVBD) is standard while an optional partial load disconnect (PLD), also rated at 125A and programmable, can provide non-critical load shedding when operating on batteries.
