Lithium-ion power system firm Green Cubes Technology has signalled its global ambitions with plans to expand its US facilities, branch into Europe and launch new products.
With the expansion plans Green Cubes now has engineering centers in the US, India and Switzerland and production facilities in the US, Malaysia, and Slovakia.
In the US, the company has added 36,000 square foot to its engineering and production facilities in Kokomo, Indiana, to house engineering staff and produce lithium-ion batteries for the material handling applications.
The existing production facility will provide lithium-ion batteries for the mobile medical workstation market.
The company has also established two new facilities in Europe— a technology center in Switzerland and a production center in Slovakia— in a bid to grow its “overseas customer base”.
The Zurich facility is the center of excellence for the firm’s data center and network power products, and is where products for the network power market are under development.
The facility in Bratislav will produce medium format lithium-ion batteries for the material handling and network power market by the end of Q2, this year.
