A hurricane message to our valued partners and customers

As many of you may know, a Category 5 hurricane is bearing down on Florida. Landfall is expected this weekend and depending on the speed of the storm, is likely to hit the South Florida region near our Coral Springs facility. The impact to our operations in the US, as well as regional, and global logistics could be severe.

Rest assured, as a team we have put in place contingency plans to address scheduled shipments over the next several days including disaster recovery and startup after the storm passes. These plans include working overtime in advance of the storm, and shifting workload to our other facilities in Tennessee, and Europe. Furthermore, sales and customer service personnel outside the region are still likely to have communications capability and will be ready to support you as needed.

A major food manufacturer operations a large fleet of delivery trucks for their products.Due to the nature of food products,the insulated vehicle cargo area needs to be kept the trucks ta such a low temperature of -10F. In order to keep the trucks at such a low temperature the fleet is connected to an electrical grid at night in order for the refrigeration freezers to be run overnight.

Green Cubes will be featuring a range of products on booth #203 at the upcoming Battcon 2017 Stationary Battery Conference and Trade Show taking place at the Renaissance Orlando SeaWorld® on May 7–10, 2017.

Products on display will include examples of the Aspiro, Guardian and Sageon DC Power Systems including the new Guardian Mid-Range with an output capacity of up to 1200A. Mobile 48VDC Power Plant from Standby Power System Consultants incorporates Green Cubes (formerly branded as UNIPOWER) products

Green Cubes is pleased to have been selected by our Channel Partner – Standby Power System Consultants, Inc. (SPS) to provide DC power and chargers for a mobile 48VDC power plant to be supplied to a large telecommunications provider. A total of five mobile 48VDC power plants were delivered by SPS in December 2016 and January 2017.

Each Mobile 48VDC Power Plant incorporates Green Cube’s 48 Volt ARE-M Series charger for float charging of the on-board 880Ah capacity VRLA battery. Also included is a 48VDC/400A Sageon 2 Rectifier Plant which can be deployed either in the Mobile 48VDC Power Plant itself or transported inside the customer premises and placed into service there.

The design was tailored to meet the end customer’s requirements for each of the Mobile 48VDC Power Plants. The telecommunications provider uses the Mobile 48VDC Power Plants as emergency and reserve power plants at Central office and MTSO locations where additional battery reserve time or maintenance of the 48VDC plants may be required.

Sageon System and Batteries Selected for Municipal Metro System

Green Cubes (formerly branded as UNIPOWER), LLC in collaboration with our Channel Partner, American Power Systems, is pleased to have been selected to provide a DC power upgrade, and advanced battery upgrades for a major municipality metro traffic signaling system. These improved efficiencies will allow better oversight of how the power plant and batteries are operating.

The Green Cubes solution consisted of a combination of its Sageon Micro and Sageon II systems deployed at numerous sites. The design and specification around the Green Cubes equipment was based on improved rectifier efficiencies and the advanced battery monitoring. This will save the customer operating cost and prolong the life of the batteries.
