Upgrading to SAFEFlex is straightforward thanks to its drop-in design, which allows the batteries to be installed into existing GSE vehicles without major modifications. With multiple voltage options (20–96V), dual CANbus compatibility for different vehicle models, and flexible control interfaces, SAFEFlex batteries integrate seamlessly into both OEM equipment and retrofits.

With recharge efficiency of 98% or higher, SAFEFlex batteries reduce electrical costs compared to lead-acid and significantly lower fuel spend versus diesel GSE. Our systems also eliminate weekly equalization, improve runtime efficiency by 10% or more, and reduce downtime, helping airlines achieve faster gate turns and lower total cost of ownership.

Yes. SAFEFlex GSE batteries use Lithium Iron Phosphate chemistry, the safest lithium-ion chemistry available, and are constructed from UL-approved components. The custom Battery Management System (BMS) continuously monitors voltage, current, and temperature, while rugged IP65 watertight enclosures protect against dust, jet blast, and weather exposure common on the ramp.
