Green Cubes Technology, a leading designer and manufacturer of lithium power systems, announces that it has signed a multi-million dollar agreement with Preferred Freezer Services to supply their Lithium SAFEFlex batteries for their new Big Bear facility in Los Angeles, CA. Preferred Freezer Services provides customers with door-to-door nationwide logistic services that leverage the company’s strategically national footprint. The new facility, opened this past summer, is Preferred Freezer Services’ seventh location and boasts over 491,000 square feet, 32 dock doors and is focused on cleaner energy. The building is powered from 2 mega watts of solar array power installed on its rooftop.

Organizational Change Announcement

As most of you know, John Resnik has decided to leave Green Cubes (formerly branded as UNIPOWER) in pursuit of a different opportunity. We will miss his leadership, knowledge, and the care with which he handled all customer service issues. He was a good friend to all of us and will be truly missed. I bid him farewell and wish him ‘fair winds and following seas’.

At the same time, I’m pleased to announce that Mr. Tom Johnson will be assuming the role of Manager, Global Customer Service effective today 20 July 2018. Tom has been with Green Cubes for several years, is well known throughout our global customer and partner network and is extremely knowledgeable about our processes and methodologies. We’re extremely excited to have him assume this role. During the turnover process, Tom ramped up to speed very quickly – the entire effort was truly seamless!

The same reporting structure for global customer service will remain in place, now reporting to Tom, who will in turn report directly to me. Please join me in hailing and welcoming Tom to this new and exciting position. We’re all extremely
confident in his abilities and look forward to the broader impact he will make.

Kokomo-based Green Cubes Technology has announced plans to expand its Howard County operations. The company, which manufactures advanced battery power systems, will invest $1.8 million to build a new global headquarters and create more than 70 jobs by the end of 2021.

Green Cubes (formerly branded as UNIPOWER) Announces Guardian Bulk M42 1200A DC Power System

April 02, 2018 (Coral Springs, FL) – Green Cubes, the leading provider in power for mission critical applications and high efficiency systems, announced the Guardian Bulk M42 DC power system today. The new mid-range rack-mounted system is dedicated to servicing data centers, cable, and telecom markets worldwide.

The Guardian Bulk M42 series is a 10RU high 19” rack-mounted DC power system that provides a bulk output of -48VDC. The configurable systems incorporate six rectifier shelves with up to 23 Guardian family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers, with a maximum total current of 1200A (N+1). The rectifiers of the Guardian Bulk M42 series are internally fan cooled with speed control. The result is a function of load and temperature control, all while keeping acoustic noise to a minimum.

The Guardian Bulk M42 will be on display at the upcoming Battcon show in Nashville, Tennessee at Green Cube’s booth (Booth #101).
